Delhi University: More students from UP

Over 2.7 lakh students have applied for admission to the four year undergraduate programme in Delhi University. 50,000 seats are available for admission in DU.

According to the university officials, the maximum number of students who applied for the FYUP are from Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Around 51,879 candidates have been applied for Delhi University admission from UP and Uttarakhand. This is followed by 40,000 students from Delhi who had applied for admission at DU.

English has become the most sought-after subject at DU. A total of 71,359 students have been applied for this subject. But, there are only 4,362 seats are available for admission.

Mathematics is the second most sought-after subject after English - 67,636 students have applied for it.

The first cut off marks list will be announced on June 24.
