Delhi University assures students,parents and teachers that teaching programmes for all courses will be ready and will begin academic classes from July 21 in all colleges.
A statement from the university Registrar said, "The university will reopen in full measure on July 21. Students and faculty are requested to report to their respective colleges to receive their various teaching and time table schedules. All processes required to enable this teaching schedule are being taken care of. In particular, the committee of courses of each department has already met to prescribe the teaching programme for the students of all disciplines for the first, second and third year of the undergraduate programmes."
Some colleges were still admitting students under the fifth-cut off list on Monday. Kirori Mal College, Hindu College, and Hans Raj college had many of it courses still open in all streams. Ramjas College has re-opened admissions to its B.Com course. B.A programme was still open in the Miranda House. Colleges like Lady Shri Ram and Kamala Nehru College had closed their admissions for the general categories but they might come out with a sixth list if there are withdrawals.
