Bringing a relief to Delhi University admissions seeks, the second cutoff list saw a dip in the range of 0.25-4% points in comparison to the first cutoff.
Majority of the colleges are open for admissions from today.
The dip in the cutoff will help candidates in all streams to get admissions in colleges of their choice.
Majority of the colleges had high cutoff in the first list which was above 95% and above. Colleges which have not been able to fill general category seats for 1st cutoff have slashed the cutoff by 0.5% to .75%.
While majority of the science courses are open for admissions in the second cutoff, the courses which are close in this list are history, political science, sociology and geography.
Physics, one of the popular science courses, is still open in six campus colleges and in over a dozen others. At Gargi, physics is open at 95%, while at 96% it is open in Ramjas, Miranda House and Sri Venkateswara.
