Delhi University has launched an exciting recruitment drive for non-teaching roles in 2024, aiming to fill 14 vacancies across three technical positions: Senior System Programmer, System Programmer, and Technical Officer. This initiative, announced under Advt. No. R&P/304/2024, is designed to strengthen the university's administrative and technical capabilities.

To give potential candidates more time to apply, the application deadline, which started on July 31, 2024, has been extended until September 14, 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is overseeing the recruitment process, ensuring that eligible and qualified candidates can apply for these prestigious permanent roles.

Eligibility Criteria

For the Senior System Programmer role, candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech. in a relevant field, or an M.Sc./MCA/M.Tech. with the required experience. The System Programmer position requires a B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. along with relevant experience. Those applying for Technical Officer roles should possess a Master's degree in a relevant field or have experience working with scientific instruments.

Selection Process

The selection process will include multiple stages. Initially, applications will be screened to verify eligibility. Depending on the role, the process might also involve written tests, practical skill assessments, and interviews for shortlisted candidates.

The application fees are categorized as follows:

• ₹1000 for General/Unreserved candidates
• ₹800 for OBC (NCL)/EWS and Women candidates
• ₹600 for SC/ST and PwBD candidates

These fees are non-refundable, so candidates should ensure they meet all eligibility requirements before proceeding.
