The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the opening of applications for its Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme (VCIS) for the 2024-25 academic year. This part-time internship provides students with the chance to gain hands-on experience in various administrative and academic departments across the university. Interns will work 8-10 hours per week and receive a monthly stipend of Rs 5,500, with the internship lasting up to six months.

Application Details
Students interested in applying for the VCIS must submit their applications online by September 20, 2024. The internship is open to bonafide regular students of DU who are enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate courses, excluding first-year or first-semester students. The application process is conducted via DU's official website, where students can access and submit the necessary forms.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the VCIS, applicants must be regular students at DU and should have completed at least one semester of their current course. Successful candidates will receive a certificate from the Dean of Students' Welfare, contingent on a satisfactory performance review from their assigned department or centre.
Opportunities Across DU
The VCIS spans several departments and centres within DU, including the Vice Chancellor's Office, the Registrar's Office, various departmental libraries and labs, and more. This diversity provides students with valuable exposure to different facets of university administration and operations.
The VCIS offers a unique opportunity for students to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical work experience. By participating in this scheme, students can enhance their resumes, develop professional skills, and gain a deeper understanding of university operations.
