Delhi University Begins Admission For Undergraduate Courses

The University of Delhi (DU) has initiated Phase-2 of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for undergraduate admissions for the 2024-25 academic year. Candidates who completed Phase-I can now log in to their dashboard to select their preferred programs and college combinations, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

Both phases of registration will remain open until August 7, 2024. This allows candidates who haven't registered yet to do so on the CSAS portal. According to the official notification, in Phase-2, candidates must map the subjects they studied in class 12 to those they appeared for in CUET-2024. Only CUET papers corresponding to passed class 12 board exams will be considered.

Key Dates

• Correction Window: Opened on July 30 and will close on August 4, 2024.
• Preference Filling: Scheduled from August 1-7, 2024.
• Simulated Ranks: To be declared on August 11, with a window to change preferences from August 11-12, 2024.

First CSAS Allocation List: To be released on August 16, 2024.

First Round of Allocation and Admission: Runs from August 16-21, with candidates required to accept allocated seats by August 18. The deadline for fee payment is August 21, 2024.

Second Round Details

Second Round of CSAS Allocation and Admission: Starts on August 22 and ends on August 30, 2024.
Second Allocation List: To be announced on August 25, with the final date for online fee payment set for August 30, 2024.

To assist candidates with the admission process, DU's admission branch will conduct a webinar on August 2, 2024. This session aims to provide guidance and answer any queries related to the admissions procedure.
