The Delhi University (DU) has announced the admission process for the undergraduate programmes for the academic year 2016. Admission, which were expected to start from May 28, 2016 got delayed by a week and is scheduled to begin from June 1, 2016.
Delhi University admission process will be held online this year. The university has also decided to conduct entrance exam for some of the UG programmes, which include Bachelor of Management Studies, BA Multimedia and Mass Communication, Bachelor of Elementary Education, and Bachelor of Business Administration.
Candidates, who are applying under reserved categories such as sports, extra-curricular activities (ECA), Kashmiri Migrants and Defence category will have to fill the online application form. Candidates are also required to upload self attested document online.

The Delhi University has listed out few documents, which have to be uploaded by the candidate while registering online. The documents including Marksheets and certificates of classes X and XII, transfer and character certificates, photographs, scanned copy of signature and reserved category certificates etc needs to be uploaded while registering online.
However, the university has not provided any details on the admission policy. Students are concerned about the parameters taken into consideration while offering admission, such as formula for calculation of best of four percentage, centralised trials for admission under sports and ECA quota and the number of cut-off lists.
