Delhi University: 39,000 Students Register on First Day of Admissions

Delhi University's online admission process has witnessed huge success as it received 39,000 applications on the first day of admission process.

The university has opened admissions for more than 60,000 seats in various undergraduate courses. The complete online admission process is introduced by the Delhi University for the first time.

Aspirants can apply till June 19, 2016

According to PTI reports, the online registration process, which began on June 1, 2016, will be open for applications till June 19, 2016. While registering online, a few students faced several problems due to slow process of server. However, the authorities claim that they had arranged servers keeping the expected traffic in mind.

"39,000 candidates have registered on day 1 and 5,600 have completed the process including fee payment," a senior university official said.

This year, the university will be releasing only five cut-off lists and the first cut-off will be released on June 27, 2016.
