All the Delhi state university exams are likely to be cancelled, including the end-term exams of students in the final year owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, as announced by Dy. Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.

With Delhi being one of the worst-hit states by COVID-19 pandemic in the country, several academic institutions have suspended their classes since March. Given this, the Keriwal-led AAP government has now decided to cancel all the university exams in the state, including for final year students.
Informing about the likely decision, Dy. CM Manish Sisodia tweeted, "In light of the major disruptions caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, Delhi government has decided to cancel all Delhi state university exams including final exams."
Briefing the press about his government's decision to cancel all Delhi state university exams, including final exams, Dy. CM Manish Sisodia, also stated that the assessment parameters for awarding degree to final year students will be set by the university itself.
"Delhi government has decided to cancel all Delhi state university exams, including final exams in view of COVID-19. The degree will be awarded based on evaluation parameters decided by the universities," Manish Sisodia said while interacting with the press.
Although, the announcement was praised by a section of students, it also received a lot of flak from those in the terminal semester, who had their exams scheduled towards end of September, as per the UGC guidelines.
