The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the Postgraduate Entrance Test for 66 Central and participating Universities for the academic session 2022-2023.

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) provided a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas and help establish better connect with the Universities. A single Examination enabled the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Central Universities and other participating Universities. The applicants were given the opportunity, to make corrections in the particulars of their
online Application Forms.

The Examination was held in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The test was of objective type, comprising of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Though CUET (PG) was voluntary for Universities, a total of 66 Universities (including 27 Central Universities) participated.
The CUET (PG) - 2022 was scheduled for approximately 607648 (Six Lakh seven thousand and six hundred forty eight) candidates.

The Common University Entrance Test [CUET (PG)] - 2022 was conducted from 01 September 2022 to 07 September 2022 and 09 September 2022 to 12 September 2022 at 570 Examination Centres located in 269 cities across India and 04 cities outside India. The datewise details are mentioned below:

Central Control Room was set up to monitor and facilitate the smooth conduct of the Examination on the ground. 02 National Coordinators, 18 Regional Coordinators, 227 City Coordinators, and approx. 659 Observers/Deputy Observers were positioned.
Live CCTV Surveillance was done in all examination centres to curb malpractices in the examination. The NTA also made arrangements for live viewing of remote locations of all examination centres from the Control Room located in the NTA premises of New Delhi. Recording of CCTV Systems was also done.

The Examination was conducted taking all necessary precautions, sanitisation, staggered entry of candidates into the exam hall, provision of masks to candidates, etc, laid down by the Govt. of India.
