Today is the last day to apply for the application correction process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2017 that is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

As per the notification from NEET, today, March 31 is also the deadline to choose examination centre from the given list.
NEET is the single common entrance exam for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in Medical Council of India-/Dental Council of India-approved medical/dental colleges. It will be held on May 7.
Also, CBSE has also added another city to the list of exam centres which is that of Nanded, Maharashtra.
Around 11, 35,104 candidates have registered themselves for the exam. This year, 41.42 per cent more numbers have registered than the previous year's number. In 2016, 8,02,594 aspirants had registered for the NEET.
The NEET 2017 exam will be held in 10 languages-- Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Odia and Kannada.
NEET stands for National Entrance Eligibility Test. It is an entrance examination to screen undergraduate medical aspirants into private and government colleges for admission. It was formulated in order to bring in a common entrance exam for the undergraduate medical courses. After a lot of legal arguments, NEET successfully came into force on April 2016 replacing All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT).
