CUP Recruitment 2019 For 38 Assistant Professors And Guest Faculty Posts; Apply Online Before May 27

The Central University of Punjab (CUP) has invited online applications from qualified and experience Indian nationals for filling 38 Faculty positions comprising Assistant Professors (33) and Guest Faculty (05) under various disciplines/subjects comprising Law, Physical Education, Education, Applied Agriculture, Chemical and Physical Sciences, Financial Administration, Hindi, Human Genetics & Molecular Medicine, Pharmacology, Geography, Geology, Library & Information Science, Psychology, Performing & Fine Arts, History, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science & Technology. The online application process towards the same starts from May 14, 2019 and closes on May 27, 2019

Age Criteria And Fees

Desirous candidates applying for Teaching positions through CUP Recruitment 2019 must meet the age criteria as per the Central University of Punjab norms, with relaxations (upper age limit) to reserved categories as per the University rules.
Candidates must pay a requisite amount of Rs. 100 (Gen/OBC) as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc payment gateways) mode. However, SC/ST and PWD candidates are exempted from paying application fee.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates applying for Teaching positions through CUP Recruitment 2019 must meet the educational criteria prescribed by the UGC/AICTE regulations as specified in the notification. However, Ph.D + NET in relevant discipline/subject is desirable for all the posts of Assistant Professor.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Teaching positions through CUP Recruitment 2019 will be done through Shortlisting, Interview and Documents Verification.

Candidates selected to Faculty posts will be paid an emolument in the following scale:
Assistant Professor: Rs. 50,000 per month

Guest Faculty: Rs. 64,500 per month

Candidates applying for Teaching positions through CUP Recruitment must submit their applications through online mode only on the official CUP website at http://www.cup.edu.in/ on or before May 27, 2019

Candidates must also send a printed copy of their online (submitted) application along with relevant supporting testimonials to the, "Recruitment Cell, Administrative Block, City Campus, Central university of Punjab, Bathinda-151001," on or before June 03, 2019
