The National Testing Agency has officially postponed the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 examination scheduled for May 28, 2026. The decision was taken following the revised holiday notification for Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid).

According to the official notice issued by the National Testing Agency, the CUET UG 2026 examinations planned for May 28 in both shifts will now be conducted on revised dates. The new examination schedule will be announced soon on the official websites.
The agency clarified that the postponement was made after the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) revised the official holiday calendar for Bakrid celebrations.

Why the Exam Was Postponed
The examination was postponed due to the revised Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) holiday schedule issued by the government. To avoid inconvenience to candidates and examination staff, NTA decided to reschedule the examination scheduled for May 28.
