The National Testing Agency (NTA) has once again extended the registration date for CUET PG 2024. Aspiring candidates interested in applying for the Common University Entrance Test [CUET(PG)] - 2024 can complete the registration process on the official website of CUET PG at pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.

Step-by-step guide on how to register for CUET PG 2024 online

  • Visit the official website of CUET PG at pgcuet.samarth.ac.in.
  • Click on the registration link available on the home page.
  • A new page will open, prompting candidates to register.
  • Complete the application form with the necessary details.
  • Make the payment of the application fees.
  • Click on submit and download the page.
  • Retain a hard copy of the same for future reference

Application Fee

For this year, the National Testing Agency has increased the application fee by 200 rupees for all candidates compared to the previous year. Candidates falling under the general category are required to pay Rs. 1,200, while those in the OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS category must submit Rs. 1,000. Moreover, the fee for additional exam papers has been raised from Rs 500 to Rs 600 for each paper. International candidates will now have to pay an extra Rs 2,000 for additional papers, in addition to Rs 6,000 for up to two exams. The previous fees were 1,500 and 5,000 rupees, respectively.

Exam Details

The entrance exam for admission to postgraduate programs is scheduled to take place between March 11 and 28 this year, with the detailed schedule set to be published soon. The exam duration is 1 hour 45 minutes. The exam will be conducted in three phases: Phase 1 (Morning - 9 AM to 10.45 AM), Phase 2 (Afternoon - 12.45 PM to 2.30 PM), and Evening (4.30 PM to 6.15 PM). It will consist of 75 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). In 2023, a total of 230 universities will offer PG admissions through CUET PG. Some of the participating institutions include Delhi University (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), University of Allahabad (AU), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Central University of Hyderabad, and Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI).
