The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi had conducted the CTET Feb 2014 session on 16th February.
Morethan 8 lakh candidates had appeared for the CTET examination in February 2014.
CTET Feb 2014 was conducted for appointment of teachers for classes 1 to 8 in July 2014.
CTET is the qualifying test for appointment of teachers across India.
According to sources, CTET February 2014 entrance examination results will be declared on 21st March.
The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli and NCT of Delhi.
CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, which may exercise the option of considering the CTET.
Schools owned and managed by the ztate government / local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government.
However, a state government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET.
