The CTET 2021 exam has been postponed for December 16 (Shift 2) and December 17 (both shifts) by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The Board will soon release the revised exam dates. The M/s TCS Ltd., which is the exam conducting organisation, informed that the Paper 2 exam on December 16 could not be completed due to unexpected technical issues, after which the exam got postponed. However, due to the above, the Board has decided to postpone the shift 2 (Paper 2) examination on December 16, 2021, as well as both shifts of Paper 1 and 2 scheduled for December 17, 2021.
The next dates of the exams for these applicants would be announced in cooperation with M/s TCS Ltd, according to the official announcement. Candidates should keep a check at the CTET's official website for new exam dates.
The examination shifts, which will begin from Monday, December 20, 2021, till January 13, 2022, will be held as per schedule. Candidates can visit the CTET's official website for more information.
For the 15th Edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, CBSE administered the online CTET Exam (paper-1) on December 16, 2021. The CTET 2021 Exam is divided into two levels: Primary (for grades 1-5) and Elementary (for grades 6-8). According to the official guidelines, the CTET will be applicable to Central Government schools (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) as well as schools under the administrative control of the UTs of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, and the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
