The Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed premier "Miniratna" company under Government of India, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling Five Seventy Seven (577) vacancies to the post Workmen in various capacities such Sheet Metal Worker, Welder, Fitter, Mechanic Diesel , Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Fitter Pipe (Plumber), Painter, Electrician, Crane Operator (EOT), Electronic Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Shipwright Wood, Machinist, Auto Electrician, Aerial Work Platform Operator, Serang, Semi-Skilled Rigger, Scaffolder and Cook for CSL Guest House through direct recruitment on contract for a maximum period of three years to be posted at Kochi in Kerala, India on fulltime basis in the pay ranging from Rs. 22,100 to Rs. 24,800 per month. The application-cum-registration process towards the same started on September 24, 2020 and closes on October 10, 2020.

CSL Recruitment 2020: Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Workmen post through CSL Recruitment 2020 must fall in the age group between 30 to 50 years of age as on October 10, 2020, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 3 years (OBC-NCL) and 5 years (SC/ST) respectively as specified in the CSL notification.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 300 (for posts from SI Nos. A & B) and Rs. 200 (remaining posts at Sl Nos. C to G) respectively for Workmen post through CSL Recruitment 2020 as detailed in the official CSL notification given at the end of the article.

CSL Recruitment 2020: Education And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Workmen post through CSL Recruitment 2020 must have passed Class IV; Class VII; Class 10/Matriculation or equivalent with ITI-NTC in relevant trade; passed Class 10/Matriculation and possess a valid Forklift or Crane Operator driving license with minimum three years of post-qualification experience/training in the relevant trade and other desirable skills as detailed in the CSL notification.

CSL Recruitment 2020: Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Workmen through CSL Recruitment 2020 will be done through Shortlisting, Skill Test/Trade Test/Practical Test and Certificate Verification.

Candidates selected as Workmen through CSL Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument in the range of Rs. 22,100 to Rs. 24,800 per month as per the post.
