The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key for the Joint CSIR UGC NET 2024 on August 9. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the answer key through the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.

CSIR UGC NET 2024 Provisional Answer Key Out

To download the Joint CSIR UGC NET Answer Key, candidates must log in using their Application Number and Date of Birth. A direct link to download the provisional answer key is provided on the website.

CSIR UGC NET 2024: Provisional Answer Key Details:

According to the NTA, "The National Testing Agency has uploaded the Provisional Answer Keys along with the Question Papers with Recorded Responses on the website https://csirnet.nta.ac.in/ for inviting challenges (if any) to the Provisional Answer Key of any question ONLINE only. The procedure for challenging the Answer Key is provided in Annexure-I."

Candidates can submit challenges against the provisional answer key from August 9 to August 11, 2024, until 11:50 pm. A non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 is required per question challenged, with the last date for fee payment being August 11, 2024.

Challenge Verification and Result Preparation:

A panel of Subject Experts appointed by the NTA will review all challenges submitted by candidates. If a challenge is deemed valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly and applied to all candidates' responses.

The final result will be prepared based on the revised answer key and will be declared by the NTA.

Examination Details:

The CSIR UGC NET 2024 examination was administered on July 25, 26, and 27, 2024. On July 25 and 26, exams were held in two shifts: 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 6 pm.

The examination was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across 348 centers in 187 cities nationwide, with a total of 2,25,335 candidates participating.

Exam Structure:

The test consisted of three sections with objective-type multiple-choice questions, with no break between papers during the examination.

This exam was conducted for positions in Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor, and PhD programs.
