CSIR UGC NET 2023 Registration Begins; Check out for more details

CSIR NET Application Form 2023 for the December session has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on November 1, 2023. Candidates have until November 30, 2023, to fill out the application form. The CSIR NET Online Form 2023 can be accessed on the official website csirnet.nta.ac.in. The exam will be conducted by NTA in an online mode from December 26 to 28, 2023. The purpose of the exam is to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS) in Indian universities and colleges. It is usually conducted twice a year in June and December, and will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

What is the CSIR NET Exam?

Primarily conducted by the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) in India, the CSIR NET (National Eligibility Test) is a national-level exam that determines the eligibility of candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and for appointment as Lecturers in the areas of Science & Technology. Steps to Apply

• Go to csirnet.nta.ac.in, the official website of the exam.
• Look for the link to fill out the application form and click on it.
• Click on the 'New Registration' button.
• Download the CSIR NET information brochure and read the instructions carefully.
• At the bottom of the page, check the checkbox and click on the 'Click Here to Proceed' button. This will open the CSIR NET registration form.
• Provide all the required details in the registration form.

Eligibility

Candidates must have a M.Sc. or equivalent degree, Integrated BS-MS, BS-4 years, BE, B. Tech, B. Pharma, or MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR)/General-EWS and 50% for OBC(NCL)/ SC/ ST, Third gender and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.
