The Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO), Chandigarh, Punjab, under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), has invited online applications from qualified and experienced candidates for filling 27 vacancies post of Senior Medical Officer (01), Senior Technical Officers (02) and Technical Assistants (24) to be deployed at the CSIR units in Chandigarh and Delhi through direct recruitment. The application process towards the same started on November 15, 2019 and closes on December 15, 2019 by 5:00 pm.

Age Criteria And Fees
Candidates interested in applying for Technical and Medical posts through CSIR Recruitment must fall in the age group between 28 years to 40 years as on December 15, 2019 with relaxation (upper age limit) for reserved categories as per the CSIR norms.
Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 500 (Gen/OBC/EWS) as application processing fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit) State Bank Collect mode only. SC/ST/PwBD/Women and CSIR Employees are exempted from paying the application fee.
Educational Criteria And Experience
Desirous candidates applying for Technical and Medical posts through CSIR Recruitment must possess an MBBS Degree with MD (MCI recognised); B.E/B.Tech in ECE/ Electronics engineering or equivalent; Diploma in Electronics engineering or its equivalent with minimum 55% marks from a recognised University/Institute with two to three years of work experience in relevant domain.
Selection And Pay Scale
The selection of candidates for Technical and Medical posts through CSIR Recruitment will be done through Shortlisting and Interview (Medical and Technical Officers); Trade Test and Written Examination (Technical Assistants).
Candidates selected for Technical and Medical posts through CSIR Recruitment will be paid emolument in the rage of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month as per the designation.
