The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has called for applications in a prescribed format from qualified and experienced Eminent Scientists/Technologists for filling Twenty-One (21) vacancies to the post of Distinguished Scientists and Outstanding Scientists through recruitment to be posted at CSIR units in Bangalore, Chennai, Dhanbad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, New Delhi, Pune, Rookee in India on a fulltime basis. The application process towards the same started on December 30, 2020 and closes on February 15, 2021.

Desirous candidates applying for CSIR Scientist Jobs 2021 through CSIR Recruitment 2021 must be a Scientist/Technologist of Indian origin (STIO) with a proved track record in areas of cutting edge S&T having attained International eminence for Distinguished Scientists posts; possess a Ph.D in any branch of Science/Social Science's or Master's Degree in Engineering or Health/Medical Sciences from a recognised University/Institution with sixteen years of R&D experience for Outstanding Scientists posts as detailed in the CSIR Recruitment 2021 Notification.

CSIR Recruitment 2021: Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as CSIR Scientist Jobs 2021 through CSIR Recruitment 2021 will be done through Shortlisting, Interview and Document Verification as notified in the CSIR Recruitment Notification 2021.

Candidates selected to CSIR Scientist Jobs 2021 through CSIR Recruitment 2021 will be paid emolument in the following scale range as mentioned in the CSIR Recruitment Notification 2021

• Distinguished Scientists: Rs. 2,05,400 to Rs. 2,24,400 per month (Pay Level 16)
• Outstanding Scientists: Rs. 1,82,200 to Rs. 2,24,100 per month (Pay Level 15)
