Who can download the CSIR ASO CPT admit card?

Only candidates named in CSIR’s August 5 screening list for Advertisement E‑I/RC/2026/2 can access the CPT admit card. The recruitment rules call at least five candidates per vacancy, category wise, for CPT. Cross‑check your application number in the screening PDF before attempting login or raising queries.

CSIR ASO CPT pattern and qualifying marks

The CPT is a one‑hour, qualifying test across common office tools. It covers Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, weighted 40, 30, and 30 marks respectively. Minimum qualifying scores are UR 40 percent; OBC and EWS 37 percent; SC and ST 35 percent; and all Persons with Benchmark Disabilities 30 percent. Plan practice accordingly.

CSIR ASO CPT admit card: printing, documents, and ID rules

Carry your printed admit card and one original government photo ID with a matching name. CSIR notices specify that ration cards and learner’s driving licences are not valid IDs. Keep two recent passport photos handy. Avoid folds or lamination that obscure your face or signature at entry checks.

CSIR ASO CPT exam‑day rules, reporting, and banned items

Report strictly at the time printed on your admit card; previous CSIR CPTs asked candidates to arrive about ninety minutes early. Centres disallow bags, notes, calculators, laptops, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, and smartwatches. CSIR uses signal jammers in high‑stakes exams, so expect zero device connectivity inside. Travel light and cooperate during frisking.
