CSAB Registration 2022: The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has started the CSAB 2022 registration for special round at official website- csab.nic.in. The CSAB 2022 special round registration is carried out to fill the vacant seats left after JoSAA counselling. The CSAB 2022 special round is conducted only for IIITs, NITs and other GFTIs (Except IITs).

CSAB Special Round 2022 Registration Process

Willing candidates can register for Central Seat Allocation Board 2022 registration for special round till 28 October 2022. Candidates can follow the below-given steps to register for the CSAB 2022 special round counselling process:
1. Go to the CSAB 2022 official website -csab.nic.in.
2. Click on the link which reads, "CSAB special" and then click on the "registration and choice filling" link.
3. Fill in your JEE Main application number, password and security pin correctly and click on sign in.
4. Now, upload the required documents as per the specifications.
5. Pay the CSAB 2022 application fee in online mode.
6. Then, select the choice of institute or college/course and lock the choices once confirmed, as per your choice.
7. Check and download the application form with filled choices for future use.

CSAB special round 1 seat allotment result- October 30, 2022
Accepting/ surrender of allotted seats- October 30 to November 1, 2022
CSAB seat allotment result for special round 2- November 3, 2022
Reporting at the allotted Institute- November 3 to 5, 2022

CSAB counselling 2022: Important Documents

Candidates are advised to keep the following documents handy for CSAB 2022 registration for special rounds:

• Class 10 and 12 marksheet
• OCI/PIO candidates need to upload the OCI/PIO card.
• JEE Main application number and password
• Category certificate - Gen-EWS, OBC NCL, SC & ST candidates
• PwD certificate, if applicable
• NRI candidates need to upload a scanned image of Passport.

CSAB 2022 Registration- Important Instructions

1. Fresh Registration for CSAB Special Round 2022: All willing and eligible candidates need to do fresh registration online.

Note: Registration done by candidates during JoSAA counselling will not be considered for special round.

2. Document Verification: During Registration, candidates (except those whose documents have been verified at NIT+ System during JoSAA rounds) can update their State of Eligibility (XII Passing Place), Nationality, Gender and Category/PwD (only from Beneficiary to non-Beneficiary Category).

3. CSAB Registration Fee: Candidates are required to pay CSAB 2022 special round registration fee. The fee can be paid using Net Banking / Debit card / Credit card or State Bank of India e-challan.

4. Choice Filling: Candidates need to fill up their fresh choices for special round. The previously filled choices during JoSAA 2022 rounds (if any) will be considered null and void.
