Opportunity to Update Preferences for Test Cities

Candidates who have already submitted their XAT 2025 application forms will have the opportunity to modify their choice of test cities on September 28th and 29th, 2024. For those who haven't applied yet, the new test cities will be available for selection starting September 28th, 2024. This flexibility is aimed at ensuring that every aspirant can take the exam in a location that is most convenient for them.

Among the 34 new test locations are cities such as Anantapur, Arrah, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Bilaspur, Mehsana, Baddi, Chikkaballapur, Davanagere, Hazaribagh, Hisar, Kalaburagi (Gulbarga), Kurukshetra, Shimla, Ajmer, Balasore, Bikaner, Dhenkanal, Jodhpur, Kolhapur, Nanded, Patiala, Sikar, Ujjain, Karimnagar, Salem, Vellore, Aligarh, Bareilly, Haldwani, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, and Kalyani. These new locations ensure that XAT 2025 reaches more candidates in previously underserved areas, making it easier for them to take the exam without the need for long-distance travel.

This decision stems from the growing interest among students, and by allowing candidates to select up to six preferred cities, we aim to offer greater convenience and accessibility."

Registration Details

The registration for XAT 2025 began on July 15, 2024. Interested candidates can apply through the official XAT website at www.xatonline.in. The registration fee is ₹2200/- for all applicants, with an additional ₹200 per program for those applying to XLRI programs. Payment options include credit/debit cards, net banking, and IMPS.

XAT 2025 Exam Pattern

Exam Format:

Part 1:

  • Verbal and Logical Ability: This section tests comprehension, verbal reasoning, and English language skills. It includes reading comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary questions.

Part 2:
