Conference on Sustainable Development of Environmental Systems at IITG

Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati is all set to conduct a National Conference on Sustainable Development of Environmental Systems on June 20th and 21st, 2014. This conference is organised by the Centre for the Environment, IITG.

The conference aims at spreading an awareness about challenging environmental issues in the recent times like global warming, climate change and urbanisation. It would mainly have lectures and presentation by experts in the field and registered participants.

Research papers are invited from academicians, young researchers, professionals, students and NGO's in the following areas:

• Environment Pollution and Remediation
• Environmental issues: Problems and Solutions
• Climate Change and Global warming
• Waste Water Treatment
• Solid Waste Management
• Green Chemical Technology
• Environmental impact on Society

Abstracts should be submitted in MS-Word format and should not be longer than 250 words (excluding the title, author's name and affiliations). Abstract along with the registration form enclosing requisite registration fees may be submitted as email attachment to [email protected].

Registration Fee: For Delegate/Academic/Scientist/Teachers, the fee is INR 2000. For Research Scholars the fee is INR 1500. For student delegates, INR 1000 and Rs 1000 for any person accompanying the above people.

Payment of registration fee has to be made by cash or crossed demand draft in favour of NCOSDOES Payable at Canara Bank, IIT Guwahati. The fee includes conference kit, refreshments, lunch and dinner.
