GITAM is conducting a national conference on "Advances in communication technology". The conference will be held for two days- 14th and 15th February 2014.

This conference is being organised by the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at GITAM.

This national conference will provide a forum to the academic community and industrial people engaged in the field of Electronic Communication to share their research, experience and views on modern pedagogical approaches and research methodologies in the present context.

Call for papers:

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Gitam Institute of Technology, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam, India, invites academicians, industries and research scholars to submit proposals for individual research papers and developments made in the field of communication Technology on the following, or related themes:

* Communication

*Signal Processing

*VLSI/Embedded System

The original papers should be submitted in IEEE format, as an email attachment by January 10, 2014. All papers should be sent to: [email protected]

Acceptance of papers will be conveyed by January 30, 2014.

Selected papers presented during the conference will be compiled and published in the conference proceedings.

Registration fee:

Industry : Rs 2,000/-

Academicians/researchers and faculty: Rs 1,500/-

PG Students/Research scholars : Rs 1,000/-

The Registration fee will include admission to all sessions, lunch, refreshments and conference materials.

Mode of Payment :

Registration Fee should be sent only as a Demand Draft in favour of Convener, NCACT'14, GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam.

Accommodation:

Participants are requested to make their own arrangements for transport and accommodation. However organising committee will assist them in booking hotels if requested in advance with payments. The tariff may vary from Rs.1000/- to Rs. 5,000/- per day. Participants may contact the organising committee for more details.
