The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has officially started the COMEDK UGET 2026 registration process today, February 3, 2026, on its official website comedk.org.

Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering courses in participating private colleges across Karnataka can now apply online. As per the official schedule, the COMEDK UGET 2026 entrance examination will be conducted on May 9, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at designated exam centres across India.

COMEDK UGET (Under Graduate Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance examination conducted annually for admission to B.E./B.Tech programmes offered by COMEDK-member institutions. The exam is widely accepted by private unaided engineering colleges in Karnataka, excluding government and minority institutions.

With the opening of the COMEDK UGET 2026 application window on February 3, eligible candidates can register, fill out the application form, upload documents, and pay the examination fee through online mode. Candidates are advised to complete the application process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.

According to the official notification, COMEDK UGET 2026 will be held on May 9, 2026, and the exam will be conducted entirely in online CBT mode. The question paper will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, based on the Class 11 and 12 syllabus prescribed by the Karnataka PU Board and CBSE.

To be eligible for COMEDK UGET 2026:

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Electronics/Computer Science can be taken as optional subjects.
• A minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories) in PCM is required.

Candidates appearing for Class 12 exams in 2026 are also eligible to apply.
