Educational qualification for Coconut Development Board Recruitment:

For Deputy Director (Development) posts:

Candidates must hold a Post Graduate Degree in Horticulture/ Agriculture/ Plant Sciences (with working experience of Plantation tree crops) from a recognized University or equivalent, and Seven years experience in a responsible capacity (out of which 5 years experience in Group A post under the Central Government or equivalent) in agriculture development with particular reference to coconut crop.

For Deputy Director (Marketing) posts:

Candidates must hold a Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture from a recognized University or equivalent; and seven years experience in a responsible capacity (out of which 5 years experience in a Group A post under the Central Government or equivalent) in Marketing/ Processing of Agricultural Commodities & in Market Intelligence/ Market Surveys & Market Promotion activities.

For Field Officer posts:

Candidates should possess Postgraduate degree, Secondary School Leaving Certificate with a pass in the certificate/ Diploma Course in Agriculture/ Horticulture conducted by the Rural Institute/ Horticulture operations including supervision.

Age limit for Coconut Development Board Recruitment:

For Field Officer: 45 years
For Deputy Director (Marketing): 45 years
For Deputy Director (Development): 30 years

The upper age is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwD & Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. of India rules.

Pay scale for Coconut Development Board Recruitment:

For Field Officer: The candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 5,200-Rs.20,200 with Grade pay of Rs.2,400 (Pre-revised)
For Deputy Director (Marketing): The candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs.15,600-Rs.39,100 with Grade pay Rs.6,600 (pre-revised)
For Deputy Director (Development): The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs.15,600- Rs.39,100 with Grade pay Rs.6,600 (pre-revised)
