Selection Process

  • Selection will be on the basis of a common written test conducted in around 91 cities in India
  • Candidates who pass the written test will be called for a face to face interview. Those who are selected in the final interview will be recruited

According to official website of Coal India, Coal India Limited (CIL) as an organized state owned coal mining corporate came into being in November 1975 with the government taking over private coal mines. With a modest production of 79 Million Tonnes (Mt) at the year of its inception CIL today is the single largest coal producer in the world.
