Registration for CLAT 2025 begins today, July 15, 2024. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) until October 15 through the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The CLAT 2025 exam will be held on December 1, 2024, in an offline, written mode.

CLAT 2025: Eligibility Criteria
The CLAT exam is crucial for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs at 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) and other participating institutions.
- Undergraduate Program: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
- Postgraduate Program: Candidates must possess an LLB degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). There is no age limit for applicants. Candidates appearing for their qualifying exams in March/April 2025 are also eligible to apply.

- Visit the Official Website: Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
- Register: Provide necessary details and verify through an OTP.
- Complete Registration: Upload the required documents.
- Pay Application Fee: Rs 4000 for General, OBC, PWD, NRI, PIO, and OCI candidates; Rs 3500 for SC and ST candidates.
- Submit the Form: Print the confirmation page for future reference.
CLAT 2025: Exam Pattern
For the UG exam, students must answer 120 questions across five sections: English language, current affairs and general knowledge, legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative techniques. The test duration is two hours.
