The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has announced the date for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025. The exam will take place on December 1, from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Details of the Exam
CLAT is a crucial test for admission into five-year integrated LLB and LLM programmes at 22 NLUs across India. The CLAT UG and CLAT PG exams will both feature 120 questions, with candidates allotted two hours to complete the test.
Syllabus Breakdown
CLAT UG Exam: The syllabus includes the English language, current affairs including general knowledge, logical reasoning, legal reasoning, and quantitative techniques.
CLAT PG Exam: The syllabus covers constitutional law and other legal areas such as jurisprudence, family law, criminal law, and property law.
Expected Details
Further information regarding the syllabus, application, and counselling process will be released shortly, according to the Consortium's official announcement. Last year, 97.03 per cent of registered CLAT 2024 UG candidates took the exam, while 93.92 per cent of CLAT PG aspirants appeared for the test held on December 3, 2023.
