The Executive Committee of the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has decided to defer the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 exam. It has decided to postpone CLAT 2020 scheduled on September 7 due to the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic. It has released an important notice regarding the CLAT 2020 exam date. CLAT 2020 Postponed

The official notice reads, "The Executive Committee of the Consortium of National Law Universities met on the 27th August 2020 to review the precautionary measures taken in the context of the COVID 19 pandemic and the resulting situation in various states of the country."

It also reads, "The CLAT 2020 examination for both UG and PG candidates scheduled for 7th September 2020 has been postponed to Monday, the 28th September 2020 from 2 to 4 PM."

Candidates should note that the release of CLAT 2020 admit card was also delayed due to postponement of the exam. It is advised to keep visiting the official website (consortiumofnlus.ac.in) for the latest updates.
