Candidates who have registered for the CLAT 2014, have to submit the relevant documents while filling the application form.

Those candidates who are unable to upload the required documents due to non- receipt of the same from appropriate offices or institutions, can follow the below compliance procedure:

General Instruction: In case there is a delay in obtaining a certificate, the candidate can upload the scanned attested photocopy of the fee receipt / acknowledgement proof given by the respective competent office. If the acknowledgement is not being provided by the office, then the scanned attested photocopy of the application form (only the page containing the name of the candidate and not the whole form) submitted to the concerned Office can be uploaded.

Domicile Certificate: This option should be selected and the scanned attested photocopy of the certificate should be uploaded only the candidature is to be considered for the seats reserved under the domicile category in a university of candidate's interest. Otherwise, the application form may be completed by clicking on "others" option

NRI Sponsored Certificate: If the candidate is not able to obtain the certificate from the Embassy or if any difficulty is being faced in procuring the same, then the certificate (in similar format as available on the CLAT website) may be notarised by the sponsor from his country of residence and the same may be uploaded for completing the process of submission of application forms.

Birth Certificate: If the candidate is not in possession of the birth certificate, then the scanned attested photocopy of the standard X passing certificate / passport can be uploaded .

Candidates shall make sure that the necessary documents in original are there with them at the time of final admission and verification, without which their candidature will not be considered.
