CL Young India Challenge 2016 to be held in 100 cities

September 27, New Delhi: CL Educate and Kestone announce the fourth edition of Young India Challenge (YIC) 2016, an innovative quiz platform, to be conducted across schools and colleges. The event is expected to witness about 1 million students from 100 cities. With PAN India reach, 1 lakh students from about 5000 plus colleges from 80 cities will compete against each other. Not only will this, around 2.5 lakh school students from more than 15,000 schools showcase their skills and aptitude. YIC also encourages corporates and entrepreneurs to facilitate the budding nextgen entrepreneurs.


The initial round of YIC 2016 was flagged off in August. City/Regional rounds will be held in September followed by the finale in October. The winners will be awarded prizes worth Rs.10 lakhs including mentorship, learning and business.

Piyush Gupta, President, Kestone, said, "With government facilitating initiatives like the Start Up India, through YIC, we intend to prepare our students with the necessary skills and spirit enabling them to realise their dream at an early stage. We are proud to bring forth an initiative to showcase the abilities and talent of our youth. Speaking about the initiative, Satya Narayanan. With this intent we have re-launched Young India Challenge 2016 at a larger scale this year. This challenge will allow winners work towards translating their dreams into reality from a nascent stage."

With the initial kick-off, there are already 37, 207 registrations from 206 colleges. The challenge is open to all enterprising youngsters who are keen to explore their potential. To register, aspirants can visit and click on 'I am interested'.
