The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, has invited applications in a prescribed format from eligible Indian nationals (male and female) for filling 300 vacancies to the post of Head Constables (General Duty) under sports quota in various sports categories comprising Athletics, Boxing, Basketball, Gymnastics, Football, Hockey, Handball, Judo, Kabaddi, Shooting, Swimming, Volleyball, Weight Lifting, Wrestling and Taekwondo through direct recruitment. The offline applications process towards the same started November 9, 2019 and closes on December 17, 2019 (December 24, 2019 for North East region).

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Head Constables post through CISF Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age as on August 1, 2019 and not be more than 23 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to the 5 years (SC/ST) and 3 years (OBC) respectively.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 100 as application processing fee in the form of a Postal Order/Demand Draft drawn in favour of the officer mentioned under column 3 of the notification. SC/ST and Female candidates, however, are exempted from paying the application fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Head Constables post through CISF Recruitment 2019 must have passed Class 12/Intermediate or equivalent from a recognised University/Institution and must have the credit of representing State/National/ International in games, sports and athletics with proficiency is the desired sports category applied either in individual event or team event.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Head Constables through CISF Recruitment 2019 will be done based on the candidates' performance in the following stages:

Trial Test in Sports Events
Proficiency Test
Final Selection
Medical Examination

Candidates selected as Head Constables through CISF Recruitment 2019 will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month under Pay Matrix Level 4.

Candidates applying for Head Constables post through CISF Recruitment 2019 must fill the application form in a prescribed format attached with the advertisement, and send the same along with relevant supporting documents mentioned in the notification to the authority mentioned against each at Column No.2 of the advertisement on or before December 17, 2019 (December 24, 2019 for North East region).
