CG PET 2022 Counselling Phase 1 begins: Sep 16 last date, know how to apply and other details
Students looking to get admissions into BE/BTech colleges of Chhatisgarh having qualified for the CG PET 2022, watch out! Your registration for counselling has started.
Phase 1 Counselling for CG PET 2022 starts
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Chhattisgarh has initiated the phase 1 counselling registrations for Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET) 2022. So all the CG PET 2022 qualified students, make sure to register yourself online on cgdteraipur.cgstate.gov.in by the last date which is September 16 (3 PM) 2022. We have provided below a step-by-step guide on How to register for CG PET 2022 Counselling.
The result of the phase 1 counselling process, which is the allotment of seats to participating students, will be declared on September 20, 2022, by the DTE Chhattisgarh. Allotment of preferred seats (course and college) will be done based on your rank, category and above all seat availability.
Once the seat is allotted to you, you must report to the given college between September 21 to September 24 to initiate the procedure of admission.
How to apply for Phase 1 Counselling for CG PET 2022
- Click on the link cgdteraipur.cgstate.gov.in OR paste it into a browser and 'Search'
- On the Home Page, scroll down to the Notice Board/Admission Info section. Click on the Online Counselling Registration link.
- You will be taken to a new page with another link reading "ONLINE COUNSELLING REGISTRATION FOR SESSION 2022-23." Click on it.
- It will take you to an external site with relevant links. Click here to go directly there
- Choose the course you want to get admission in, and "Click to Apply"
- Register as a new user by submitting details such as JEE Main/CG PET 2022 roll number, date of birth and create a password
- A unique registration number will be generated and mailed to your registered Email ID and mobile number
- Log in to the candidate portal with the allotted registration number and the password you created earlier.
- Fill in the required personal and academic details and upload the required documents as prescribed.
- Pay counselling registration fee in the online mode
- Preview and download the filled-out registration form. You can even take a printout for future needs.

What after applying online for CG PET 2022 Counselling
Once you are applied online, the next step in the counselling process is choice filling and locking; that means selecting and locking the choices of seat you have made. The final step is document verification which you have to get done by going to the CG PET designated document testing centres by September 16 (5 pm). Allotment of seats will only be done if you have completed the above-said process. So be very mindful.
How the seat will be allotted in CG PET Counselling 2022
For students having domicile of Chhattisgarh, they will be given priority based on CG PET result 2022 for allotment of preferred seats. While those belonging to other states, the priority will be given based on your JEE Main 2022 results. The higher your JEE Main 2022 Rank, the more are the chances of getting a preferred seat (course and college)
