CFTRI Recruitment For Technical Assistants 2018-19

The Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) Mysore, a constituent of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has invited applications from Indian citizens for the post of Technical Assistant for technical support in research activities.

The notification that was released recently calls for recruitment of 25 Technical Assistants for various departments under the aegis of the institute at its Headquarter in Mysuru or at its Resource Centres located in Lucknow, Hyderabad and Mumbai with a Level-6 pay scale of Rs. 35,400-1,12,400.

The application process is through the online mode, starting from 5 December 2018 to 3 January 2019. A hard copy of the duly-filled application form must be sent to the Administrative Officer (AO), CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru on or before 18 January 2019.

He/she applying for the position of Technical Assistant under various branches of CFTRI must not exceed the age limit of 28 years as on 3 January 2019 and must meet the educational standards and criteria as prescribed in the notification for each post.

The application fee of Rs. 100/- must be deposited at the SBI's dedicated payment gateway generated for the purpose at https://www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm?corpID=299364
and a printed e-receipt of the same must be enclosed with the application and sent to the designated address. Candidates who come under the category of Women/SC/ST/PWD/Regular CSIR employees are exempted from the payment of the fee.

The selection to the post of Technical Assistant is based on a Trade Test. Candidates qualifying the Trade Test will be invited for a competitive written examination consisting of three papers totaling 550 marks.

• Paper I - Mental Ability Test (100 marks)
• Paper II - General Awareness and English Language (75 marks each)
• Paper III - Optional Subject (300 marks)

How To Apply

• Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply ONLINE on the institute website
www.cftri.com. No other mode of application will be considered.

• The online application will be available on CSIR-CFTRI website www.cftri.com. The window for the application starts from 05-12-2018 (10.00 a.m. onwards) and closes on 03-01-2019 (till 05.00 p.m).

• It is mandatory to take the printout of the successfully submitted online application form, sign the same and attach the self-attested mandatory documents.

• The printout of the application along with the relevant documents must reach CSIR-CFTRI on or before 18.01.2019.
