Central University of Kashmir (CUK) and other fellow Central Universities across India conducted the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET-2014) on May 17-18, 2014. Around 3600 students appeared for this test which is conducted for admission to postgraduate and research programmes offered by the Central Universities.
The Central University of Rajasthan was the co-ordinator for the examination.
CUK's officiating Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Meraj-ud-Din said that he was satisfied with the way the examination was conducted.
Prof. Muhammad Afzal Zargar, who is the Registrar at CUK, acknowledged the fact that the entire examination process was carried out very smoothly.
Central Universities which were involved in conducting the CUCET 2014 include Central University of Jammu, Central University of Haryana, Central University of Jharkhand, Central University of Kashmir, Central University of Kerala. Central University of Rajasthan and Central University of Tamil Nadu.
