The Central government is offering an exciting internship opportunity at the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) for 25 selected candidates. Internship Overview
Selected interns will work 40 hours a week at the ICSSR Head Office in Delhi, where they will gain practical exposure to both research and administrative operations. To be eligible, applicants must hold an MA or MSc degree in social sciences, humanities, or interdisciplinary studies, with a minimum of 55 percent marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized university or institute. Additionally, candidates should possess strong communication skills, a basic understanding of research methodologies, familiarity with statistical tools and data analysis in social sciences, and proficiency in MS Office.
Selection Process
The selection process is merit-based, focusing on the educational background of the applicants. Interns will work from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, adhering to the standard working hours of the ICSSR. The Council also reserves the right to make adjustments to the internship program or the selection process as needed.
