The Office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, has released a notification inviting applications in a prescribed format from qualified and experienced Indian officers for filling 208 vacancies to the post Statistical Investigators Gr I on deputation to be posted in New Delhi and its other units across India. Applications through offline mode must be submitted on or before September 6, 2019.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Candidates applying for Statistical Investigators post through Census of India Recruitment must possess a Master's Degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/ Business Studies/Management Studies from a recognised University/Institution with two years' of work experience in collection, tabulation analysis and interpretation of Statistical Data.

Candidates must also be holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Statistical Investigators through Census of India Recruitment will be done through Shortlisting, Personal Interview and Document Verification.

Candidates selected as Statistical Investigators will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 9,300 to Rs. 34,800 per month with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600.
