The IIT Bombay has released the CEED 2023 online registration form dates in online mode. Candidates need to visit the official website i.e ceedapp.iitb.ac.in to complete the CEED 2023 registration process on November 11 (with a regular fee) and November 18 (with Rs 500 late fee). The Indian Institute of Bombay conducts the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) every year for admission to Master of Design (MDes) programs at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur and Ph.D. programs at several IITs and design schools.

All eligible candidates should fill out the CEED 2023 application form on or before the last date in order to be considered eligible to participate in the entrance exam. CEED 2023: Eligibility Criteria

It is important for the candidates to fulfill all the CEED eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance exam. The detailed eligibility criteria is shared below.

  • Candidates must have completed a degree/diploma/post-graduate degree program of a minimum of 3 years (after 10+2 level), or Candidates who are appearing for the final examination of such a program, or must have passed the GD Arts diploma program (10+5 level).
  • There is no age limit to participate in the CEED. Also, there is no limit on the number of times the candidates wants to appear for CEED 2023.

How to apply online for CEED 2023?

Follow the steps shared below to apply online for CEED 2023 without any hassles.

1 Go to the official CEED website.

2 Click on New Registration.

3 Register yourself with the required details.

4 After that, log in with the credentials and fill out the complete application form.

5 Upload the required documents and pay the application fees.

6 Click on the "submit" button to complete the CEED application process.

7 Save, download or take the printout of the application form for future reference.

CEED 2023 Application Form: Documents Required

The following documents are required to be uploaded in order to complete the registration process:

  • Recent color photograph (.jpg file)
  • Scanned copy of your signature (.jpg file)
  • Scanned copy of your degree/diploma certificate(.pdf file)
  • Valid Category Certificate
  • Valid medical certificate for PwD category candidates
  • Candidates whose name is not the same as the name on the degree/diploma certificate should submit a gazette notification, marriage certificate, or scanned pages of the passport reflecting the change of name.
  • PwD candidates requiring the services of a scribe and/or compensatory time during the exam need to upload a request letter in the prescribed format.

CEED 2023 Application Fees

Candidates must submit CEED registration form online through the official website only.

The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. They can pay the registration fee via credit card, debit card, and net-banking options. The CEED registration fees will be as follow

  • Rs 1800 for all women candidates
  • Rs 1800 for (SC/ST/PwD) candidates
  • Rs 3600 for all other candidates

Note: A late fee of Rs 500 is applicable to all the candidates submitting the application forms after the regular closing date.

CEED 2023 Syllabus Part A

The CEED Part-A syllabus comprises questions related to the following topics:

  • Visualization and spatial ability
  • Environmental and social awareness
  • Analytical and logical reasoning
  • Language and creativity
  • Design thinking and problem-solving
  • Observation and design sensitivity

CEED 2023 Syllabus Part B

The CEED Part B Syllabus will have questions related to these topics:

CEED 2023 Exam Pattern

As per CEED Exam Pattern, this examination will consist of two parts i.e Part-A and Part-B.
Part A will be conducted online (Computer Based Test) whereas Part B will be conducted offline (pen & paper mode).

Part-A contains objective questions of three types: Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Choice Question (MCQ), and Multiple Select Question (MSQ).

Part B consists of five questions that are aimed at testing design, drawing, and writing skills.
The exam duration will be 3 hours ( 1 hour for Part A & 2 hours for Part B).
