The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the understanding of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) among school Principals and Counselors. As part of its commitment to fostering better career counseling in schools, CBSE will conduct an Orientation Program on April 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM at its Integrated Office in Dwarka, New Delhi. Participants are required to arrive by 9:00 AM to complete registration and initial formalities.

In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CBSE has been actively working towards strengthening career counseling initiatives in schools. This orientation program is designed to provide Principals and Counselors with a thorough understanding of CUET, its structure, and its impact on undergraduate admissions. A CBSE spokesperson highlighted the significance of this initiative, stating, "With CUET being a crucial component of university admissions, it is essential to equip school Principals and Counselors with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively guide students."
