CBSE Supplementary Exam Dates 2023 Announced; Registration for 10th and 12th Students Begins Tomorrow

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently announced the dates for the Class 10 and Class 12 supplementary exams in 2023. Scheduled to commence on July 17, the supplementary exams will give an opportunity for students to improve their results. While the detailed datesheet for Class 12 exams will be released later, Class 10 supplementary exams will be held on the same day.

CBSE Supplementary Exam Dates 2023 Announced

To ensure a smooth registration process, CBSE has instructed schools to submit a list of eligible candidates through the Pariksha Sangam link. It is vital for students' names to be included in this list to be eligible to appear for the supplementary examinations. CBSE has also outlined the eligibility criteria, fee structure, and the subjects for which the exams will be conducted.

The fee structure for the exams has been categorized based on the location of schools. For schools in India, the fee per subject is set at Rs 300, while schools in Nepal and schools outside India will have to pay Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000 per subject, respectively. The online submission of candidates' list is scheduled from June 1 to June 15, with the fee payment deadline being the date of finalization of the list of candidates plus two days.

Schools can make the payment through various modes such as debit card, credit card, NEFT, RTGS, or SWIFT. It is essential for schools to generate a list of candidates placed in the compartment category from their login, select the roll number and subject of each student, finalize the selection, note down the application ID, pay the required fee online, and generate a final copy of the list for record-keeping purposes.

Students are reminded that they will have three chances to pass the CBSE supplementary exams. Those who appeared in the 2021-22 session as regular or private students and received a "compartment" result, but were unable to pass in the compartment exams of 2022 (1st chance) and 2023 (2nd chance), are now eligible to apply as private students for their 3rd and final chance in the supplementary examinations of 2023, as stated in the CBSE notice.
