Central Board of Secondary Education announced the CBSE Science Challenge 2021-22 for students of classes 8 to 10. The CBSE Science Challenge will be available from January 17 to February 28, 2022

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today on January 17 announced the CBSE Science Challenge 2021-22 for students of class 8 to class 10 with the objective of generating curiosity, instilling the spirit of inquiry and higher-order thinking amongst the learners in sync with the scientific and technological advancements. CBSE Science Challenge 2021-22 announced

The CBSE Science Challenge 2021-22 will be available to students of classes 8 to 10 irrespective of the board on the DIKSHA platform from January 17, 2022 to February 28, 2022.

To access the CBSE Science Challenge 2021-22, the CBSE affiliated schools are required to register their students and provide them with the registration IDs to participate in the 'CBSE Science Challenge' course on the DIKSHA platform. However, learners of schools not affiliated with the CBSE board can directly visit DIKSHA platform to take up the Science Challenge 2021-22.

There is no application or participation fee for undertaking the Science Challenge 2021-22.

It may be noted that schools can nominate only 5 children in each class who have secured a participation certificate in the Science Challenge directly to the second stage or national qualifiers of the Raman Young Science Innovator Awards, the CBSE notice stated.

Steps For CBSE Schools To Register For Science Challenge 2021-22

Step 1: Visit the official CBSE website - cbse.gov.in

Step 2: On the home page, click on the "CBSE Science Challenge -2021-22" link

Step 3: CBSE Science Challenge -2021-22 page will open

Step 4: Enter details such as Affiliation No. and Password to register their students

Step 5: Submit the details after entering the captcha.

Step 6: Access the Registration IDs generated

The Registered IDs generated by the schools must be provided to the participating students so they can use them on the DIKSHA portal at the beginning of the quiz.

Steps for students to participate in Science Challenge 2021-22

Step 1: Access DIKSHA portal on the computer or via the DIKSHA app on Android mobile or on any mobile browser for iPhone users

Step 2: Enter login details using their existing DIKSHA credentials or sign in with Google to register

Step 3: Access the "CBSE Science Challenge" in English on https://bit.ly/3nrpE2i and in Hindi on https://bit.ly/3K70gIZ

Step 4: Click on "Join Course, on reaching the course home page

Step 5: Access different modules of this course

Step 6: The first module provides a brief introduction to the CBSE Science Challenge course.

Step 7: The second module is the CBSE Science Challenge 2021-22

Step 8: Students of CBSE affiliated schools have to fill in the Registration ID before accessing the Quiz. Students of schools not affiliated with CBSE are to skip filling this Registration ID (please leave it blank).

All participating students completing the course would be provided a participation certificate which will be issued online on the DIKSHA platform following the completion of the course.
