The CBSE results for the class 10 exam have been officially announced. This year lakhs of candidates wrote the exam. The over all pass percentage is 86.70%. Last year, the number of students who wrote the exam was 16,67,573. The class 12 CBSE exam results were declared recently on May 26.

CBSE has drawn the results of the candidates with the help of the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt of India.
Candidates may also obtain their results through Google, Bing or SMS Organiser app. The students who have preregistered their numbers can get their results through a text message with the help of that app.

In the year 2016, 1491293 candidates wrote the CBSE class 10 exam. There seemed 8.5 per cent more students registration than the previous year 2015. The pass percentage was 96.21 %.
