UGC NET November 2017

This year, the CBSE UGC NET exam was conducted on November 5 in 91 cities at 1700 exam centres across the nation. The difficulty level of the paper was found to be moderate. While some students found Paper I, Paper II moderate and Paper III was difficult although there were not any out of syllabus questions.

Why is CBSE UGC NET held?

CBSE holds UGC NET for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor post. The exam is conducted twice a year, usually in the months of June and November.

UGC NET exam is conducted for different subjects. The merit list of NET qualifying candidates is prepared first and the merit list of JRF qualifying candidates is prepared from the list of NET qualified candidates.
