The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to introduce the free online teacher training programme through its Centre of Excellence (CoE). The Board's teacher training programme will include structured courses for free of cost.

The Board has decided to launch structured Online Teacher Training programmes to enable teachers to teach better and lead improved learning outcomes. The courses also help teachers revise and refresh the knowledge that has already been provided to them in their regular training.

CBSE Free Online Teacher Training Courses

The online training session will be for the one-hour duration and there is no participation fee. It also issues e-certificate to the participants. Over 1200 online sessions are planned in this month by CoE.

The official notice reads, "CBSE conceptualized Technology enabled Teachers training on pilot basis from 3rd week of April, 2020 and conducted 500+ free-online training sessions by 15 CBSE-COEs. More than 35,000 Teachers and Principals from various parts of the country and abroad participated in these programs."
