A news circulated on the social media platforms these days regarding the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) online examination is fake. The fictitious information claims that the CBSE has directed schools to conduct online exam by purchasing an app developed by VH Softwares and has also directed an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) for the same purpose.
The Board has released a public advisory regarding the fake news. As per the official sources, CBSE has neither endorsed any private agency for the conduct of online classes nor recommended any for the conduct of online examination and there is no OSD (Academics) appointed in CBSE.
