The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the registration period for the CTET July exam. The application window for CBSE CTET 2024, which opened on March 7, will now remain accessible until April 5, 2024, at 11:59 pm.

Candidates who have not yet registered are strongly encouraged to apply online before the new deadline. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is scheduled to take place on July 7, 2024. Previously, the registration deadline was April 2.
For CTET July 2024, candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories are required to pay Rs 1,000 for one paper and Rs 1,200 for both papers. Conversely, candidates from SC, ST, and differently-abled categories are required to pay Rs 500 for a single-paper test and Rs 600 for both papers.
The CBSE has issued an official statement regarding the technical difficulties encountered by candidates on the official CTET website - ctet.nic.in. The statement reads, "Applicants encountering any technical issues while filling out the CTET application form may reach out to: 8802580447". Candidates are advised to promptly reach out to the CTET helpline number 2024 for assistance with any issues.
