Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi has announced the results of All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Test (AIPMT) 2014.
Around 46,271 candidates cleared the examination.
Among registered candidates, a total of 5,79,707 candidates were eligible to appear in the AIPMT 2014 and 5,23,701 candidates had appeared in the test. The test was conducted at 929 examination centres located in 50 cities including one abroad.
The result of AIPMT 2014 has been declared on the basis of the qualifying criteria prescribed by the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India. The qualified candidates have to further complete the formalities with the respective counselling authorities, such as, DGHS, Medical Education Directorates of States, AFMC, Institutions and Universities, etc. for admission to MBBS/BDS courses.
46,271 candidates have qualified the test for counselling for admission in Medical/Dental colleges on the basis of the qualifying criteria prescribed by the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India.
18,115 candidates have qualified for 15% All India Quota Seats, out of which 9,716 numbers are male candidates and 8,399 numbers are female candidates.
